This recipe is wonderful! It is so warm and filling.
1 to 2 lbs. of stew meat
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
Season salt
Cut stew meat in bite size pieces. Put into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Season meat with season salt. Add soup and Lipton onion mix to meat. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Do not check on until 2 hours are up. Serve with white rice and peas.
If you don't have time to cook in the evening, this recipe can also work well in the slow-cooker. Just throw in all of the ingredients into the crock-pot and cook it on low for 5-6 hours.
